How do I add to the shopping cart?

You can add to the shopping cart from the detailed page of a product. Simply select the colour, size and quantity you require and then click on the shopping cart icon "add to cart". The page will be refreshed and you will be directed to your shopping cart list. You can then either continue shopping, update your shopping cart or proceed to the checkout.

 

How do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?

Once you have clicked on the "add to cart" button to place the item in your shopping cart, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. Your shopping cart will travel with you when browsing your way through the site - always appearing at the top right-hand side of the page. All of your purchases will be visible and we've even put in a running total of your spend (because we know it's easy to get carried away). If you would like a full-page view then you can click on 'Cart Items' in the top menu.

 

How do I get to the checkout?

Right next to your shopping cart in the top menu is the link to the checkout 'Cart Items'. It just takes a click and it will take you directly to our secure checkout for completion of your purchase.  Checkout can also be accessed by clicking on the 'Shopping Cart' link in the footer under 'My Account'.

 

How do I edit my items?

Click on 'Cart items' to be taken to your shopping cart.  If you need to make a change to the size or colour of an item, click on its name and you’ll be taken back to its page. Add the version you want to your cart.   Don’t forget to delete the unwanted item from your shopping cart by clicking on the small cross to the left of the item's image (if you roll over the cross with your pointer it'll say 'Remove item').  Click 'Remove item' to delete it from your cart. 

 

How do I check the shipping cost on my items?

GearGuys charge a flat rate of $6.95 per order, doesn't matter how much or how little you buy.  The great news! Shipping is essentially free for 2nd, 3rd, etc items as we only calculate it once per order.

 

What are my payment choices?

Once you have created your account and selected your shipping destination, you will be directed to the payment options.  We use the ANZ secure online banking system which accepts VISA and Mastercard.  The entire payment process is handled directly by ANZ, so we never see or hold your credit card details.  Alternatively, you can use the direct debit option where you simply transfer funds from your account to ours.  All our bank details are listed when you click the 'Direct Debit' option.  Once your funds have cleared into our account (usually 24 to 48 hours), we'll ship your goods.

We must stress that at no time will GearGuys see or hold your financial details.

 

How do I know my order has been received?

Once your order has been completed and payment processed, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. This email will outline billing and shipping details, the items you have purchased and itemised costs.

 

When will my payment be charged?

Your credit card will be charged immediately once you complete the payment procedure. If for some reason there is a problem with payment processing you can try again or contact us (info@gearguys.com.au) and we will assist you with completing your order. Once payment has been received your ordered products will be shipped in 1 to 2 working days.
