An all round, comfortable leather boot for hikers and travellers. Built on a broad last with lots of volume and a Gore-Tex® lining to keep the water out. Soft supple supportive leather upper breaks in easily and is recommended for light to medium trail walking duties.

I know it's a cliche and a bit of a rip off but I'll say it anyway. 'These boots are made for walking and that's just what they'll do'.
The Ranger is one of the more supple boots produced by Scarpa. The leather is super comfortable with a slipper like feel and perfect fit straight out of the box. No need for a lengthy softening up process here.
There is a little more room in the toe box and the sole is not as stiff as the technical hikers i.e. you will get more feel from uneven surfaces underfoot but that is not to say you will be going without adequate foot support.
Designed more as an everyday boot rather than for humping heavy loads over multiple days. Absolutely perfect as a high cut boot, for day hikes. They will handle trails with aplomb and they are great looking to boot (pardon the pun, actually no, the pun was intended).
