They say the best designs are simple and the Rock 22 is about as simple a tent design as you could imagine. It takes just minutes to erect which is a great attribute when you're tired at the end of a long day's hike. Pull it out of the bag and it literally sets itself up while you get a brew on the go. We are big, big fans of double vestibules. One stores all your gear safely away from the elements while the other allows you a space to cook if the weather doesn't allow any alternatives. Essentially double vestibules make bad weather manageable. The design of the inner tent has fairly steep sided walls, which means you get a lot more room allowing for better living conditions. This is especially good if you need to sit out bad weather or lay over somewhere for a few days. Play cards, read books, brew the 10th cup of tea, it's all possible to do in a reasonable state of luxury in the Rock 22.
