The Kailash GTX is ideal for trail hiking, rugged day hikes, and regular abuse; a medium-weight boot with maximum comfort.

Differential padding areas in the cuff, flex zones, collar and tongue deliver a glove like fit. The Comfort Flex midsole is light and offers great flexibility and protection. The Hi-Trail Vibram® outsole incorporates a PU wedge and a shock absorbing EVA insert for superior shock absorption and the tread provides traction when you need it. The suede upper is durable and looks the part and is backed by the waterproof breathable protection of a Gore-Tex lining. For out of the box comfort, it is hard to beat the Kailash made for both men and women.

  • Fabrication: (Upper) Suede, (Lining) Gore-Tex®, (Midsole) Comfort-Flex, (Outsole) Vibram® Hi-Trail Lite

  • Average Weight: 630g (1/2 pair)

  • Sizing: European 40-48

  • Features:
    • Comfort Flex midsole is moulded so it has maximum flex in the heel section but gives comfortable flex in the forefoot area. It is used for walking and hill walking footwear.
    • BXX last is especially designed for people with wide or larger volume feet. Suits us wide footed Australians very well.

The Kailash provides a good middle ground in backpacking boots. It is tall, supportive and plenty of robust sole technology, but with the combination of suede and mesh it also reduces weight and increases step in comfort, yes that's right it will be more comfortable right from the get go. No need to put as many hours into softening up this shoe before your next big adventure.

The Gore-Tex lining still keeps everything water tight while you are out and about, and the rubberised toe cap will provide added longevity for the boot.

This is the boot for the avid walker, backpacker or hiker that is looking for the support and technology of a big boot, but not looking to lugging around the extra weight.
