How do I add to the shopping cart?
You can add to the shopping cart basket directly from the products thumbnail page or from the detailed page of a product. If colour/size selection is required you will be directed to the product details page. Simply select the colour and size you require and then click on the small shopping cart icon. The page will be refreshed and you will notice the selected product in the shopping cart list in the left-hand column.

How do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?
Once you have clicked on the "add to cart" button to place the item in your shopping cart basket, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. Your shopping cart will travel with you when browsing your way through the site - always appearing at the left-hand side of the page. All of your purchases will be visible and we've even put in a running total of your spend (because we know it's easy to get carried away).
If you would like a full-page view then you can click on 'Edit Items' in the left-hand column at the bottom of the shopping cart listing or you can click on 'Shopping Cart' in the top menu.

How do I get to the checkout?
Right under your shopping basket is the link to the checkout. It just takes a click and it will take you directly to our secure checkout for completion of your purchase.
Checkout can also be accessed when viewing your Shopping Cart in full-screen mode. Simply click on the 'Shopping Cart' link in the header and footer.

How do I edit my items?
Even if you don’t plan any changes, GearGuys recommends you visit the 'Edit Items' page just to see your purchases laid out all at once. If you need to make a change to the size or colour of an item, click on its name and you’ll be taken back to its page. Add the version you want to your cart and don’t forget to return to the Edit Items page and remove the original purchase – otherwise you’ll end up with two!

How do I check the shipping cost on my items?
First add the items to your cart you wish to find shipping costs for, then locate the shopping cart basket in one of the side columns of the online store. In this box you will see a link to "calculate shipping". From this page you can enter your country and postcode to calculate the shipping cost on the items in your cart. You can then decide whether to proceed and complete the purchase.
The great news?! Shipping is essentially free for 2nd, 3rd, etc items as we only calculate it once per order.

What are my payment choices?
GearGuys processes online payments using Paypal Australia. This gives you additional confidence with the international security reputation and experience of PayPal.
Once you have created your account and selected your shipping destination/method you will proceed directly to the secure PayPal site. PayPal accepts VISA, Mastercard, direct debit from your bank account or transfer from your current PayPal account (unfortunately American Express is not accepted - this is a PayPal Australia thing).
At no time will GearGuys se or hold your financial details.

How do I know my order has been received?
Once your order has been completed and payment processed, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. This email will outline billing and shipping details, the items you have purchased and itemised costs.

When will my payment be charged?
Using the Paypal payment system your credit card or bank account will be charged immediately once you complete the PayPal payment procedure. If for some reason there is a problem with payment processing you can try again or contact us (info@gearguys.com.au) and we will assist you with completing your order. Once payment has been received your ordered products will be shipped.
