We know that buying online can fill you with uncertainty. That is why we offer a hassle-free returns policy to allow you to shop with confidence. If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase then contact us within 28 days of purchase and we will set-up a return for either exchange or refund. Once we receive the goods back in original condition (i.e. original packaging, with all tags attached and in a completely re-saleable condition) we will refund you the purchase price of the item (we will not refund any shipping charges). If you would like to exchange the item then you can place a new order for the replacement item knowing your refund will offset the replacement price.

How do I return an item?

The returns process is quick, easy and hassle-free. Contact us requesting a Return Authorisation at info@gearguys.com.au. All we need to know is your order number (found on your GearGuys receipt or online logging onto 'My Account') and the reason for return. We will provide you with the return address and any specific instructions for return. Please note:

 

  • You are responsible for all shipping charges in return. GearGuys is also not responsible for any items lost or damaged during shipping.
  • For refund you will need to be a registered member of PayPal. Once the return is received and deemed to be in original condition we will process refund direct to your personal PayPal account.
  • If you are returning shoes or clothing they must be tried on at home and not used extensively. The outsole of shoes should be in original condition and all items should have all swing-tags attached. Packaging should also be preserved.
  • Equipment such as tents should be tested on a clean, debris-free surface (like a grassed area) and only in fair weather. Tent pegs should be used sparingly (if at all) and thouroughly cleaned before return.
  • Any item showing sign of excessive use or wear will not be accepted for return as it cannot be re-sold.

Manufacturing faults

GearGuys only stock quality brands with excellent reputations for standing by their products. If you have experience a problem with something you have bought from us then contact us at info@gearguys.com.au and we assist where we can or organise a return for warranty claim. Once we have the item in our possession we will liaise with our suppliers to ensure your claim is efficiently resolved. We will relay all feedback so that you are kept in the picture regarding the status of your claim.
